Awesome Staff Hired

Earlier in the month we told you we had hired Matt LaRocco as our head chef. We were so lucky and excited to acquire Matt and now we have hired the rest of our staff.

Behind Matt in the Kitchen we have:
Ryan who comes to us from Rocae where he was the kitchen manager. Ryan will be a line cook under the direction of Matt. Ryan has worked in various positions in the kitchen so will be valuable to our small staff.

Next in the kitchen we have Sam. Sam comes from a long line of pastry cooks. His grandfather was the owner and founder of Tan Top bakery. He's looking to improve his ability to create gourmet plates and will be in charge of our home baked breads and desserts. Assisting in the kitchen as dishwashers are Ruben Nunez and Christian Cortez.

In the front of the house we have Priscilla Vasquez serving behind the wine bar as our Wine Bar attendant. She will be creating the wine list and the wine and food pairings which will appear on the menu. She is also employed at the Wine outlet in Atascadero and on the weekends works at the tasting room for Sanford Winery. She will be lining up our winemakers for the winemaker dinners that will begin Jan 6 with Ardison Phillips of McKeon-Phillips winery.

Priscilla will be accompanied by Christina who works at Cambria winery. Christina is also helping to prepare the wine list and will be working at the winebar when Priscilla is not there. Thirdly, we have Becky Corey who comes from a winemaking duo. The three will be also working on getting our wine club going in the spring of 2006.

Now we have a plethura of servers. They are Judy (who used to work at the Hitching Post), Karyn (who works at Grappola), Kelly, Parker, Steph, Jen, Jenny, Brittani and I hope I didn't forget anyone since I don't have a list in front of me.

We have two bussers and Aimee and I will serve as hostesses. With a key staff all working together like a team, you are in for a real treat. An experience is what we like to call it.

Looking forward to seeing you on the 1st.
